Katherine Carlson's work has appeared in The New Yorker, The Cut, Vol. 1 Brooklyn, The Hairpin, and other publications. She has received fellowships from the Edward F. Albee Foundation, the Woodstock Byrdcliffe Guilde, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, and VCCA-France. She is a Senior Language Lecturer in the Expository Writing Program at New York University. She lives in Brooklyn and recently completed her first novel.
